Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30 1991) is better known under his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is a popular American artist, rapper and songwriter. He is also a record producer. His stage name is a tribute to the name of his favorite uncle, paired with the first name of one of his inspirations, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records and a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. Scott signed a record agreement with Epic Records and T.I. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic and T.I. Scott's debut long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. The mixtape was followed by a second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first studio album. It included the smash track "Antidote". The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was a top one on the Billboard 200. Scott's second album, Birds in the Trap: Sing McKnight (2016) was a collaboration with Quavo. It was titled Huncho Jack Huncho and included his debut Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode", featuring Drake. Scott's compilation album JackBoys was released by Cactus Jack Records in late 2019. It was a top hit on the Billboard 200. His single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott was the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs reach the top of the list within a mere decade in 2020.
